Cave Café

The aim of this report is to explain and evaluate the changes that the owners of Cave Café have introduced. Cave Café was the most popular café until April, when Starbucks opened and the Cave’s sales started to decrease. When it happened the owners thought that they had to do something.

The first change that we have found is the decoration. Now it seems a relaxing place unlike it was before, it had the same atmosphere that any other pub but they have put specials air fresheners and you now you have the same feeling if would be in your house very in peace.

A few months ago, before summer, Cave Café was quite small and you can’t have a café there, you had to have it while you were walking, but in holidays they made it bigger and now it’s a place where you can have a café with your friends. Also there are sofas with its pillows and it’s a place much more comfortable.

As a result of these changes the sales have increased again and Cave is always full of people. The owners are very happy because their Café is again a place where the people go to have a great time but in my opinion they could redecorate the entrance to do it more attractive for the people who pass every day for there and they will have more customers.

Report about the crashes with cyclists

The aim of this report is to show how the car drivers see the cyclists. 

We will see if the drivers see the cyclists like a normal “vehicle” on 

the road or only like persons, then I will make recommendations to 

the cyclists.

As we know, the road is dangerous if we go fast, and we know too 

that the cars hate the cyclists. The guilt is to the both sides because 

the cars don’t give importance to cyclists and cyclists sometimes 

don’t wear fluorescent clothing and lights. 

Other factor is the license car, the car drivers know all the signals 

and normative circulation while the cyclists (not all of them) only 

know the stop signal and the traffic light. I think it’s important to 

cyclists to know some signals and normative circulation for prevent 

crashes or problems. 

In conclusion, I hope that the guilt is to both of them. Cyclists for no 

wear sometimes the fluorescent clothing and for no know the 

normative circulations, and the car drivers for not drive carefully 

when they see a cyclist or group of cyclist. My recommendation to 

cyclists is to wear fluorescent clothing and add lights to the bike.

Re- Read Second-hand Bookshop

The aim of this report is to show that reading doesn’t need to be as expensive as we thought. Some time ago I discovered that a second-hand bookshop in Barcelona called Re-Read, and as I love reading I went to have a look.

It was a small shop, all the walls full with bookshelves. In my opinion, it looked very beautiful, it was like a lot of stories were trapped in those shelves and you could feel it. And also the smell was very fragrant, like a mixed scent of new and old books. As a result of this, you could feel relaxed and happy.

Talking about the structure of the shop, I think it was a little bit chaotic. Each shelf had its own genre and type of books, and that’s great, but it seemed to me that it was disorganised. The books weren’t well placed, some of them were in horizontal and others in vertical positions, and some had their pages fold or broken. In spite of this, I believe it’s well worth buying books here, because they are very cheap! For instance, with just 3 euros you can get the book you’ve been one month waiting for!

To sum up, I think these kind of bookshops are very useful, especially if you can’t afford to buy new books every time, as in my case. My recommendation to them is that they should organise better the books and take more care of them.

A report about Coffast

The aim of this report is to evaluate customers' experience of our local café, which is called Cofast, and to make recommendations for improvement.

The first time I entered the café I was really surprised. In spite of the dim light, the interior design was incredibly pretty. There were a lot of beautiful paintings and some nice decorations. However, the first problem came when I took a seat because the chairs were rather uncomfortable.

I ordered a French Vanilla Coffee and a piece of strawberry cake. The local was crowded, so they took their time to bring me my order. It was worth the waiting because the vanilla coffee looked really tasty and its smell was so fragrant. It was absolutely rich, I have no objection. Unfortunately, the strawberry cake was awful. Even if I thought it would be good, it wasn't sweet at all and it tasted a little bit spicy.

To sum up, I think Coffast is a quite good café but they should change little issues to be a real success. For instance, they should buy new furniture and make the place brighter. Moreover, I think my experience with the strawberry cake was really weird and they should be more careful with these little things.
