During this first part of 21th century, mobile phones have been changing. In the past people only could use mobile phones to call and the mobiles that they had, were too big. But nowadays people can use their mobiles to do anything that they want, people can use their mobiles to send messages, to have a control of their bank or to play games. But is this new way to use mobiles good?

On the one hand, people can communicate quickly and for free with Whatsapp for example. Furthermore people have different utilities in only one gadget (mp3, watch videos…) and they needn’t have a lot of equipments.

On the other hand, mobile phones are used a lot and too many people abuse of them. People use mobile even when they are with someone and everyone is with their mobile forgetting that they are with their friend and they don’t talk because they are only concentrate on their mobiles.

From my point of view, the mobiles’ progress and the different utilities that their have are positive because with them we can do a lot of things quickly but this progress becomes dangerous when people abuse of mobiles.

Should student's textbooks be replaced by computers?

Nowadays is more usual to see in schools a lot of computers and students are replacing their books with these computers.

From my point of view the use of computers instead of books has some advantages but also it has disadvantages. On the one hand students reduce the weight of their schoolbags using computers because they have all the books that they need in it, so they only have to take the computer. Another advantage is the use of Internet. If students have some doubt they can look for a lot of information in Internet and they can find the answers of their questions immediately.

On the other hand Internet can be a distraction because there are a lot of games that students can install in the computer and they play during classes. Also the students have the problem that their sight can be tired when they have to read for a long time.

In my opinion each student should try if they want to study with computer or they prefer to do it with books because each student has different needs and different ways to study, for example I had to study with computer during ESO but I had preferred to study with books because with the computer I distracted a lot.

Cave Café

The aim of this report is to explain and evaluate the changes that the owners of Cave Café have introduced. Cave Café was the most popular café until April, when Starbucks opened and the Cave’s sales started to decrease. When it happened the owners thought that they had to do something.

The first change that we have found is the decoration. Now it seems a relaxing place unlike it was before, it had the same atmosphere that any other pub but they have put specials air fresheners and you now you have the same feeling if would be in your house very in peace.

A few months ago, before summer, Cave Café was quite small and you can’t have a café there, you had to have it while you were walking, but in holidays they made it bigger and now it’s a place where you can have a café with your friends. Also there are sofas with its pillows and it’s a place much more comfortable.

As a result of these changes the sales have increased again and Cave is always full of people. The owners are very happy because their Café is again a place where the people go to have a great time but in my opinion they could redecorate the entrance to do it more attractive for the people who pass every day for there and they will have more customers.
