Who do I admire?

In this world there are some people that are always fighting to change things, speak up for the ones that can not do it and denounce illegalities and Jesus Blasco De Avellaneda is one of these people. Is a journalist from seventeen dedicated to denouncing the illegalities on the fence of Melilla

I admire Jesus Blasco de Avellaneda because he is a journalist who is not afraid to tell what really happens on the fence of Melilla

to been arrested several times for defending the human rights of immigrants. I really admire her because knowing that he can be arrested dares to show the illegalities on the fence of Melilla.

In this world more people missing as it because they care about the immigrants and not by those who have power.

Who do I admire?

The world of the cinema has never attracted me. Actually, when someone asks me about who is my favourite actor or actress I never know what to say. Despite of this, there is a man who really surprised me and he still does.

Jackie Chan is a martial artist, comedian, singer, actor, acrobat, stuntman (and coordinator), director, scriptwriter and Chinese filmmaker. He is 61 years old and he comes from Hong Kong.

This actor has short black hair and slanted eyes. His skin is a little bit tanned and it started to have some wrinkles. 

He is lifelong obsessed with fitness (as we can see in his photos and films). One of his reasons is because he does his own action sequences and he has to be in shape for doing them (he has suffered some serious accidents doing these scenes). That is something that I admire about him. 

Another point that caught me about him was how involved is he on his charity works. He takes a work as Ambassador of UNICEF, and he has his own charity organization.

Finally, I would like to mention a quote by Jackie Chan: "Anyone better than me, for me is a role model".

WHO DO I ADMIRE?

I know it sounds as a cliché, but the person I admire the most is my mom. Her name is Aurora and she is almost 47.  Luckily, we have a very good relationship and we have a lot of things in common, so we trust each other. However, we argue and discuss often.

She is taller than me (which she always reminds me), her brown hair is very short and she cannot see without her glasses. Although we have the same eye colour, we do not look like each other at all. Due to she does a lot of sport (running, basketball, cycling and hiking) she is in shape. Moreover, she is vegetarian and she is obsessed with healthy food and green juices.  

On the other hand, I’m very proud of her job and what she has done during her professional career. Nowadays, she is working as a director in a disable residence and she has dedicated his whole life helping vulnerable people.  

She is the most optimistic person I have ever met. If you do not see her with a smile, something is wrong with her. She is a warrior; she fights for what she believes in and does not let anyone to stop her. “With hard work you can achieve any goal you want” she always tells me.

My mom has taught me that I have to help the other, but I do not have to forget about myself. She always says me that I have to love my people, but I also have to let them love me. Since I can remember, she has encouraged me to face my fears and stereotypes being proud of whom I am. Furthermore, she has educated me to have a critic point of view about social problems and the society in general.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be like my mom.   

Somebody I admire

Someone I admire is my sister Paula. She is four years younger than me, so she is 13 now and she lives with me in Santa Coloma de Gramanet. She is very funny, inteligent and generous and she is got long, black hair and brown eyes. She is very tall and elastic because she does artistic gymnastic.

She does artistic gymnastic since she was seven years old, she trains the Wensdays and Tuedays and she participates in a competition once a month and normally she is between the first places. She wants to be professional and win a lot of trophies but is very difficult. Her favourite hobbie is dance because she loves it, she dances in a lot of sites.

My sister is very inteligent, she always has high marks in all of the subjects, we are very different in that topic. She also can speak very much in English because she goes to an academy of lenguages.

A good person

A good person is the person who helps his family, his friends and other people. Also is educated, respectful, is happy and doesn't harm others.
A good person is one who when not bad this sad.
In general a good person never does anything bad.

Who do I admire?

One of the people who I admire is Kurt Hugo Schneider. He is a musician, composer, music producer and director. He makes covers with other singers and uploads them on his YouTube channel, which has almost 7 million subscribers. His most popular video has more than 100 million visits. He also writes his own songs but he doesn't usually sing on them.

Kurt is a young american boy. He has short, brown hair and green eyes. He can play the guitar, the piano and other instruments. I really like how he slows down some music covers, sometimes they are better than the original ones. I also like his music videos, they are very professional because of  the illumination, choreography, shots, originality... 

Who do I admire?

I have always been interested in art. So, one of the people I admire the most is Salvador Dalí. He was a famous catalan painter well-known for his surrealistic paintings (and for his characteristic moustache too!). 
 I think that he was a very clever, crazy and talented artist who changed the artistic panorama of the 20th century.

I have always loved his work, ever since I was a child. I love the way he used to be, a very bizarre man! I must admit that I also love "Un chien andalou", a famous surrealistic movie, which was written by him, even though I don't undestand it at all...  
As I have already said, I've always loved his paintings, even though I don't have a favourite one. 

I would like to emphasize a very "Daliesque" quote: "Each morning when I awake, I experience again a supreme pleasure - that of being Salvador Dalí.".

Who do I admire?

There are some people in this world that are always fighting to change things and speak up for the ones that can not do it, and Malala Yousafzai is one of these people. Her story is sad and hard, but also very inspiring. She was a victim in a terrorist attack committed by the Taleban when she was going home from the school where she studied. She was attacked because Taleban didn't want her to go to school because she is a woman but she chose to be brave and kept going to study.

Malala is a young women, only 18. She is from Pakistan and she is a Muslim. Her eyes and hair are dark and her skin is a little bit tanned. Anyway, I think that her physical appearance doesn't matter at all.

She is a very smart and brave woman. She fights for the right of education of every child in the world, no matter their sex, religion or nacionality. She is also very strong and determinate, as she didn't give up her fight even when she was threatened with death.

I admire everything she has done, as a feminist and as a fighter for educational rights. I admire her bravery and strenght, I don't know if I would be that brave and strong if I was in her situation. I admire her for not giving up and showing everybody that her battle wasn't over. "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world."

WHO I ADMIRE?

The person who I admire is Danny Macaskill. He's a professional rider of cycling and who won the champion of cycling last year. Danny Macaskill has a lot of videos doing tricks in a lot of modalities. But I admire his videos of mountain bike, because I practice downhill in mountain bike.
